System Introduction

Drive Time Vocational Learning Systems are designed to support road transport end users (operators / transport managers / drivers) who are required to comply with Initial Qualification and Periodic Training requirements that apply to all EU Member States.

Our system applies equally to learners wishing to join the sector in any capacity, starting at level 1 and progressing up to level 8 dependent on the individuals willingness to comply with occupational role specifications, workplace rules, regulation(s) and applicable level of attainment pre-determined by regulations agreed by all EU Member States, which shall be enforced and regulated at National level.

National Levels of Attainment

National levels of attainment shall be awarded on the following basis:

That an individual can demonstrate they have the “knowledge, skills and competence” to perform occupational duties to pre-determined statutory requirements to levels as defined by National Qualification Framework (NQF) which hold equal value as defined by the European Qualifications Framework (EQF).

European Qualifications Framework

European Qualifications Framework (EQF) is a translation tool that helps communication and comparison between qualifications systems in Europe.

Its eight common European reference levels are described in terms of learning outcomes: knowledge, skills and competences. This allows any national qualifications systems, national qualifications frameworks (NQFs) and qualifications in Europe to relate to the EQF levels.

Learners, graduates, providers and employers can use these levels to understand and compare qualifications awarded in different countries and by different education and training systems.
